Font License

Every Bloodmoon font comes with a standard commercial license. You don't pay extra for it, and you don't need to register anything. Below is a short plain-English summary, followed by the full license text that ships in the download as LICENSE.txt. If the two ever seem to disagree, the full text wins.

The short version

You can

  • Use the fonts in as many personal and commercial projects as you like.
  • Sell printed products made with them: shirts, mugs, stickers, posters, flyers, packaging and signs.
  • Sell through print-on-demand shops.
  • Cut and sell Cricut, Silhouette and other cutting-machine projects. See Halloween fonts for Cricut for ideas.
  • Post designs on social media and use them in ads, videos, YouTube and stream overlays.
  • Design a logo for your own business or for a client. The client gets the finished artwork, not the font files.
  • Use the WOFF or WOFF2 files on websites you own or control.
  • Install the fonts on up to 2 computers you own or control.

You can't

  • Share, resell or give away the font files or the bonus graphics as files.
  • Upload the fonts to a font site, template marketplace or shared drive.
  • Sell the bonus splatters, borders or word-art PNGs as clip art.
  • Sell editable templates (Canva, PSD, AI, Procreate) that contain the fonts, unless you have an Extended License.
  • Embed the font files in apps, games, e-books or software, unless you have an Extended License.
  • Modify the fonts and release them under another name.
  • Register the font designs themselves as a trademark.

A quick example: you make a "Stay Spooky" shirt in Canva with the dripping blood font and sell it on a print-on-demand shop. That's fine. You save that design as a Canva template and sell the template so buyers can change the text. That needs an Extended License, because the buyer is getting the font inside an editable file.

By downloading, installing or using these fonts ("Font Software") you agree to this license.

1. Standard license (included with every purchase)

You may use the Font Software for unlimited personal and commercial projects, including:

  • printed products you sell: posters, flyers, t-shirts, mugs, stickers, packaging, signage
  • social media posts, digital ads, videos, YouTube, streaming overlays
  • logos for your own business or for a client (the client receives the finished artwork, not the font files)
  • print-on-demand products (Etsy, Redbubble, Merch, Teespring, etc.)
  • Cricut, Silhouette and other cutting-machine projects
  • websites you own or control, using the included WOFF/WOFF2 files via @font-face
  • up to 2 computers owned or controlled by the licensee

2. You may not

  • share, resell, give away, or redistribute the font files or bonus graphics as files, alone or in a bundle
  • upload the fonts to a free or paid font site, template marketplace or shared drive
  • sell the bonus graphics or word-art PNGs as standalone clip art
  • include the fonts in editable templates you sell (Canva, PSD, AI, Procreate brushes) without an Extended License
  • embed the font files in apps, games, e-books or software without an Extended License
  • modify the fonts and sell or distribute them under another name
  • register the font designs themselves as a trademark

3. Extended license

Needed for: editable templates for resale, apps, games, e-books, broadcast, or more than 2 computers. Contact the seller through the store where you bought the fonts.

4. Ownership

The Font Software is licensed, not sold. AutomIQ AI Inc. keeps all rights, title and ownership.

5. No warranty

The Font Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. AutomIQ AI Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from its use.

6. Termination

This license ends automatically if you break any of its terms. You must then delete all copies of the Font Software.
