  • 154 glyphs: A–Z, a second drawing of every capital on the lowercase keys, numbers, punctuation and symbols
  • Accents for Spanish, French, German and Portuguese
  • Doubled letters swap to the alternate drawing automatically in apps with OpenType support
  • Built-in kerning
  • 14 bonus transparent PNGs: 6 blood splatters, 3 drip borders, 5 word-art designs
  • Standard commercial license (read the license)

Works in Canva (Pro, for uploads), Cricut Design Space, Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity, Microsoft Word, Silhouette and websites. It does not work in Google Docs, which can't load your own fonts.

The five fonts

Each one has its own job. Together they cover most horror looks you'll need for a season of flyers, shirts and posts.

  • Dripping blood font (Bloodmoon Brush). Hand-painted brush capitals with blood running off them. The loudest of the set, for posters and big single words.
  • Bloody dripping letters font (Bloodmoon Drip). Bouncy, uneven letters with long dripping tails. Playful enough for kids' parties, still creepy.
  • Melting blood font (Bloodmoon Melt). Letters that melt into pools at the base. The easiest to read, so it's the one for video titles and small labels.
  • Claw scratch font (Bloodmoon Claw). Sharp, slashed capitals with no drips. The cleanest choice for logos and merch.
  • Distressed scratch font (Bloodmoon Claw Rough). The claw letters worn and torn, like an old printed poster. Good for escape room props and album art.

Every font comes as OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2, with 154 glyphs, accents and built-in kerning.

The 14 bonus graphics

The PNGs have transparent backgrounds, so you can drop them over any color or photo in Canva, Procreate, Photoshop or Cricut Design Space.

  • 6 blood splatters, for behind a title or in a corner
  • 3 blood-drip borders, for the top edge of a flyer or post
  • 5 word-art designs: BOO, HALLOWEEN, HAUNTED, SPOOKY NIGHT and TRICK OR TREAT

The word art saves time when a post is due in ten minutes. The borders and splatters do the opposite job: they finish off a title you set yourself.

Is the bundle worth it?

Straight math: one font is $6. Two singles cost $12, which is less than the bundle. At three fonts you'd pay $18, and the bundle at $14 is already cheaper, with the graphics thrown in.

So if you know you want one look, buy that font alone. If you make Halloween stuff for more than one thing (a party, a shop, a client), the bundle is the better deal. Not sure yet? Try your words in all five styles in the tester above, or make a free image with the dripping blood text generator.

How to mix them

Use one font for the headline and a plain font for the details. If you want two from the set, give them different roles: Claw for a logo, Melt for the subtitle; Brush for one huge word, Drip for a smaller line under it. Don't put two drip styles side by side at the same size. Our horror font pairings guide covers combos in more detail, and the best Halloween fonts guide helps you pick by project.

Questions people ask

Do all five fonts work in Canva?

Yes, on Canva Pro or Teams. Upload each .otf separately through Brand Kit, "Upload a font". Five uploads and the whole set is in your font menu. Free accounts can't add fonts.

Can I sell products made with the bundle?

Yes. Shirts, stickers, posters, print-on-demand listings and Cricut projects you sell are all covered, and so are client logos. You can't resell or share the font files or the PNG files themselves. Read the license.

Can I sell the bonus PNGs as clip art?

No. Use the splatters, borders and word art inside your own designs, including ones you sell. Selling or sharing the PNG files as clip art isn't allowed.

Do the fonts have lowercase letters?

None of the five has a true lowercase. In each font, the lowercase keys type a second drawing of every capital, which helps when the same letter shows up twice.

Can I type in other languages?

Yes. All five fonts include accents for Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, like Á É Ñ Ü Ç Ã Õ ß, plus ¡ ¿ and €.

Will the fonts work in Google Docs?

No. Google Docs can't load fonts you install yourself, so none of these will appear there. Use Word, Canva Pro, Procreate, Photoshop or Cricut Design Space.
