Claw Scratch Font
Bloodmoon Claw is a claw scratch font with sharp, slashed capitals that look cut with a blade. No drips, no blobs. It's the cleanest of the five Bloodmoon fonts, which makes it the one to grab for a logo, a title card or a shirt that has to print crisp.

A slasher font that stays clean
The slashes are cut into the letters, not scattered around them. Every capital still has a solid, simple shape. That's why it reads at small sizes on a profile picture and still looks sharp blown up on a banner.
It suits anything that wants a blade instead of blood: a horror movie night title, a zombie survival game, a true-crime podcast cover, a fight night poster or a band name. For more on that look, see our slasher font page and the zombie font page.
Logo tips
- Pull the letters together. Kerning is built in. For a logo, set tracking to -10 to -20 so the word locks into one shape.
- Stack two short words. Two lines of four or five letters make a tighter badge than one long line.
- Test it tiny. Shrink the logo to profile-picture size. If you can still read it, it's done.
- Start in one color. A logo that works in plain black works everywhere: shirts, stickers, stamps.
Merch that prints well
Solid shapes and clean edges are good news for screen printing, DTF and print-on-demand. You won't get muddy drips filling in. For Cricut vinyl or iron-on, cut it at a decent size so the thin slash gaps stay easy to weed. Our Halloween fonts for Cricut page covers setup.
Want the same letters beaten up and worn? That's the distressed scratch font. Or take both, plus three dripping styles, in the horror font bundle for $14.
Questions people ask
Does the claw font work in Canva?
Yes, with Canva Pro or Teams. Upload the .otf in your Brand Kit under "Upload a font". It then shows up in any design. On the free plan you can't add your own fonts.
Can I sell band shirts or merch made with it?
Yes. The standard license allows printed products you sell, print-on-demand and Cricut or Silhouette work. You can also make a logo for your business or a client. The client gets the artwork, not the font files. License details.
Does it have a lowercase set?
Not a real one. The lowercase keys give a second drawing of each capital with different slash marks. Mix them to stop repeated letters looking cloned.
Can I write accented words like ¡Terror! or Épouvante?
Yes. Accents for Spanish, French, German and Portuguese are included, plus ¡ ¿ ß and €.
Can I pick it in Google Docs?
No. Google Docs can't use fonts installed on your computer, so this one won't appear there. It does work in Word once you install it and restart Word.
Can I trademark a logo that uses it?
You can use it in your logo. The license doesn't let anyone register the font's letter designs themselves as a trademark. If you have a specific trademark question, ask a lawyer.
