The readable one
The letter shapes stay round and open. Most of the melting happens at the bottom, where each letter pools into drops and puddles. The top half of every letter stays clean, so your eye catches the word before it notices the blood.
That matters when people only get a second to read. A story that flicks past, a thumbnail in a crowded feed, a sign seen from across the street. If the word has to land fast, start here.
Melting text for video titles and thumbnails
Install the font on your computer, then restart your video editor and look for it in the font list. If an editor doesn't show installed fonts, build the title as a transparent PNG in Photoshop or Canva Pro and drop it on the timeline. CapCut users on a phone can use the same PNG trick.
- Add a thin dark outline. Busy footage eats red text. A 2-4 px black stroke or soft shadow keeps it readable over anything.
- Leave room for the puddles. Don't park the title on the bottom edge of the frame, or the pools get cropped off.
- Two to four words on thumbnails. Set them big and let the melt do the work.
- Reveal it top to bottom. A simple downward wipe matches the way the letters melt.
Small print jobs
Because the shapes stay clear, this melting font works smaller than the other four. Questions people ask
How do I get the melting font into Canva?
You need Canva Pro or Teams. In Brand Kit, choose "Upload a font" and pick the .otf. After that it sits in the font menu with your other brand fonts. Free accounts can't upload fonts.
Can I put it on merch I sell online?
Yes. Shirts, mugs, stickers and print-on-demand listings are all covered by the standard license. Social posts and videos are covered too. Sharing the font file is not. See what the license allows.
Are there real lowercase letters?
No. Every key gives you a capital. The lowercase keys hold a second version of each capital, so you can swap one letter for its twin when two of the same sit close together.
Does it include accented letters?
Yes: Á É Í Ó Ú Ñ Ü Ç À È Ê Ô Ã Õ ß ¡ ¿ and more. Titles in Spanish, French, German or Portuguese work fine.
Can I use it in Google Docs or Google Slides?
Not in Google Docs. Docs can't load a font you install on your own computer, so it won't appear there. Use Word, Canva Pro, Photoshop or your video editor instead.
Is it readable enough for body text?
It's the most readable of the five, but it's still a display font. Use it for titles, thumbnails, labels and short lines. Paragraphs belong in a plain font.
